Usage-Based Pricing

This doc explains how our pricing changes in January 2026 affect your existing subscription and what options you have moving forward.

Your Current Plan is Grandfathered

If you're already a FLORA subscriber, your current plan and pricing remain unchanged. Here's what this means:

• Your existing subscription continues at your current rate indefinitely

• You'll keep the same number of seats and credit allocation

• No automatic migrations or forced upgrades will occur

• Your billing date and payment method remain the same

You can continue using your current plan for as long as you'd like. There's no deadline or expiration on this protection.

What's Improving for Everyone

Alongside the pricing changes, we're making improvements that apply to all users—including those on grandfathered plans:

• All models now available to everyone: Every AI model in FLORA is accessible on every plan, including free

• All features unlocked: Downloads, exports, and other previously gated features are now available to all users

• Free tier expanded: Free accounts now receive 1,000 credits to explore FLORA

These changes take effect immediately, regardless of which plan you're on.

Understanding Your Current Plan vs. New Pricing

Your current plan uses seat-based pricing, where each seat comes with a fixed credit allocation. The new model eliminates seats entirely—you purchase a credit pool that your whole team shares.

Example: Current Seat-Based Plan

Let's say your team currently has 3 Pro seats:

• Cost: 3 seats × $20/seat = $60/month

• Credits: 3 seats × 20,000 credits = 60,000 credits total

• Access: Only those 3 seat-holders can use FLORA

If you wanted to add a 4th team member, you'd pay an additional $20/month for another seat.

Example: New Credit-Pooled Pricing

Under the new structure, that same team would look like this:

• Cost: $54/month (Studio plan) for 60,000 credits

• Access: Unlimited team members share the credit pool

• Adding people: No additional cost—invite as many as you need

For teams that need more credits, volume discounts and annual billing provide additional savings:

The larger your team, the more you save—because you're no longer paying per person.

What Triggers a Switch to New Pricing

Your grandfathered plan remains active until you decide to access the billing portal and select a new plan.

Important: Any plan modification is a one-way door. Once you're on the new pricing, you cannot return to your grandfathered plan.

If you're happy with your current setup, you don't need to do anything. Your plan will continue unchanged.

Should You Switch?

Consider switching to the new pricing if:

• You want to add team members without paying per seat

• Your team size fluctuates and you'd benefit from flexible access

• You're ready to scale and want better rates on larger credit purchases

Consider staying on your current plan if:

• You're a solo user and your current allocation meets your needs

• Your team size is stable and you don't anticipate adding people

• You prefer the predictability of your existing setup
